Nothing has come close to Facebook in the social networking world for years. MySpace came and went (and just got sold again) while Zuckerberg and his crew poked and friended their way to the top.
Now Google Plus is on the scene with the first major competition the big F has seen. The flurry of users for Google Plus makes it look like a true contender, and the relatively weak “we can do one on one Skype now” announcement this past week sort of made Google look more formidable. But can 750 MILLION users be wrong?

True enough FB was a big hit but soon Google+ will take the lead. Google+ is more Dynamic, uses less broadband, much faster than FB with such built in SEO functions , Lets see… Its true a change in a habit takes some time… But Google+ will take the lead at least from 2020 …

I agree with you.. Facebook is well established.. Google is undoubtedly the Don of Search Engines and so is Facebook in Social marketing. Its a good contest but i hardly think Facebook will be dethroned by Google plus.. But Google may still steal business firms and companies by offering better exposure on Google search ranking and results. Yet Personal users will stick to Facebook as mentioned by Mr.Jack there is no use to hang on to an Empty Google+ account while my friends and family sits on Facebook.. But Facebook must understand the current trends and improve many features to avert Google plus from troubling it. Currently the Time line issue is getting bad on Facebook but Facebook seems to be silent and Google plus is getting some leads because of such issues..

Well @ the age of 71 I have learned some of the tricks of FaceBook. It looks like Google plus wants your private information,just like Facebook. I will not follow the crowed to Google Plus (Facebook 750 million people vrs Google plus ?) I am a leader not a follower.
Facebook helped me connect with relatives and old friends. People I hadn’t seen or talked to in years. I also got to know some of my relatives thanks to Facebook and met new and cool people thanks to Facebook.
It’s time someone besides FB got dinged for STEALING ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND OWNING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS ZOMG

Finding old friends is handy, even if it is just to see if they got fat.
